My History of Volunteering

How I've Tried To Make a Difference

It's taken a bit of effort, but I hope I've recalled enough of my background to make a decent story of what I've done over the years outside what was expected of me in school, at work, etc.

How I've Tried To Organize This Page

It gets a bit complicated because what I've done has taken place in several locations and during several eras of my life. The links below will take you to other pages that try to make some sense of it.

For starters, I've divided my life to date into my school years, my working years, and my retirement years. But I've added two links that reference a document that bridges two eras and several locations.

In 2005 I was installed as a member of the Maryland Senior Citizens Hall of Fame. As supporting information with the nomination form, I wrote a document that attempted to review my volunteering since coming to Maryland and up to that time the nomination had to be submitted. So I have links to that document, but in two parts: my time in Anne Arundel County and that in Baltimore County. Confusing, maybe, but it's my attempt to sort it out.

Here Are the Links
